Press release: Important US award for “LUTHER – The Journey”

(Berlin, May 23, 2018) The mobile game "LUTHER - Die Reise" is now causing a sensation in the USA. The game is one of the winners of the "International Serious Play Awards for Digital Games" and was awarded a bronze medal. The annual awards are presented by the Serious Games Association, which recognizes outstanding commercial and student titles used in education or training.

A total of 15 learning games and training simulations from 5 countries were awarded gold, silver and bronze medals. The winners will have the opportunity to participate in the Serious Play Conference events in July this year at George Mason University (Virginia) and in Buffalo and present their games to the professional audience.

"We are in illustrious company with the excellent winning works from the USA, Canada, Dubai, Denmark and the Netherlands," says game designer and project manager Dr. Martin Thiele-Schwez on the prestigious award.

"Luther - The Journey" addresses the 500th anniversary of the reformer's escape from Worms. Staged in a historically correct manner, the game provides many answers and interesting information about one of the most important personalities of the late Middle Ages.

The game was created under the overall coordination of Target Games in co-production with IJsfontein Interactive Media, the graphics studio Unger & Fiedler with Jens Fiedler as creative director, the composer Markus Vögeler and the developer Zeppelin Studio.
