Press release: Innovations for industry and culture – IJsfontein Interactive Media shows its digital range in Cologne and Frankfurt

[vc_row] [vc_column] [vc_column_text]How is the "cultural audience" developing in the age of digitization? How do you meet your needs in the face of virtual technologies and creative machines. Or how can you develop new opportunities for viewer engagement, for example through interactive experiences. Thorsten Unger (Managing Director) and Anne Sauer (Project Manager) ask themselves these questions in the specialist program of "TheArts+", the festival on the future of culture as part of the Frankfurt Book Fair. Her collaborators at the October 12th micro-conference entitled "ACCESS IS NOT ENOUGH: EXPERIENCE IS EVERYTHING" include investor Frank Thelen, cyborg activist Moon Ribas, transmedia producer Saskia Kress (Filmtank & Interactive Media Foundation) and violinist Barbara Lueneburg. The involvement of IJsfontein in Frankfurt is another step taken by the Dutch-German digital specialist to demonstrate its innovative diversity at various trade fairs.

Mixed reality for industry

After successfully participating in LEARNTEC in Karlsruhe and AUTOMATICA in Munich, the German-Dutch serious games specialist IJsfontein Interactive Media is continuing its Germany offensive at important industry events.

First the company introduces itself Wegesrand-Group from September 26th to 27th, 2018 at the Cologne Digility, the leading B2B conference and expo for digital reality in Central Europe. The core topics of this year's event are augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), mixed reality (MR), 3-dimensionality (3D), computer-generated imaging (CGI) as well as artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning.

“These key aspects of Digility are reflected 1:1 in our portfolio,” says Jannis Goossens, Creative Director, IJsfontein Interactive Media. As part of the Digility, the company will focus on mixed reality solutions for the automotive industry. The company recently developed an interactive training experience for Mercedes-Benz. As part of the launch of the new A-Class, 10.000 employees from the manufacturer's global sales organization were trained in the vehicle's technological innovations.

Solutions for Museum 4.0

Nothing less than the future of culture is on the agenda of “The Arts+” at the Frankfurt Book Fair. Politicians, museums, cultural institutions, media companies, creative people, designers and pioneers from technology and business ask themselves the fundamental question at the festival: What is digitization doing to the cultural and creative industries and how do we deal with it?

IJsfontein Interactive Media presents concepts, references and current developments around Museum 4.0. "Digitization is also completely changing the world of museums," says Thorsten Unger, Managing Partner of IJsfontein Interactive Media. "As pioneers in this field, we have very successfully developed digital experience concepts and interactive installations for numerous museums in recent years, including the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, the Museum for Communication in Frankfurt and, as recently as July 2018, for the eight research museums of the Leibniz Association[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
